Inspiring purpose in young people through joint-reflection & history
Developing a strong sense of purpose may be key to improved success, health and wellbeing in children and young people.
Inspiring Purpose between the generations is a poster project for young people to complete at home with a grandparent, relative or family friend from a different generation. It’s a project inspired by the centenary of World War 1 to bring two different generations together to reflect on important events of the past and share a brighter vision for the future.
Completing the poster with someone from an older generation helps young people to learn about the heroic stories of the past and create a brighter vision for their own future. Anyone under the age of 16 can take part and all you need is a copy of the Between the Generations poster. You can download your poster online or request a hardcopy to work on at home. The best entries could win an award and will be published in our centenary magazine in time for Remembrance Day in November 2018. You can find more information on our website www.inspiringpurpose.org.uk/generations.
